Time has gotten away from me!
Last month my friend Tiffany and I traveled out to Virgina with the wonderful purpose of doing some children-watching for a family about to welcome their 7th child!
For a ten hour drive and being gone for an unknown amount of time, Tiffany required her U-Haul. You never know what you're going to need, so you may as well bring it all!!
Well okay...maybe her vehicle looked more like this...but we still managed to fill it up! Between guitars, coolers full of goat milk, and embroidery machines, we were only inches away from needing that U-Haul!
Upon our safe arrival, we checked into the cowboy room for a good night's rest before jumping into the busy week!
First on the list:
Don aprons and form a pickle society!
Yes indeed...with a garden overrun with cucumbers, one must make dills!
I think everyone lived in their aprons.
There was just no end to the making and eating of food!
And here you see our lovely cookie pizzas:
Couldn't have asked for better kitchen-helpers!
And it was a GREAT time of getting to know the children better, before their mama went to the hospital to have little #7. Establishment of the new authorities and all that...while mama and daddy were still at home to back us up. :) Made for a smooth transition.
And really, over and over we saw the Lord's timing in so many ways this trip. It's always perfect...but it's nice when you actually get to see it clearly. :)
