Tables cleared and the dishwashers having knocked out the stacks of dirty dishes (thank goodness for paper plates!) We gathered for a time of prayer, thanksgiving, and singing!

This is truly what makes our family so special to me. Bound together not only by family ties...but by the Holy Spirit! These times are always looked forward to and treasured, as we share with each other the ways the Lord has provided in the past year. Comfort in times of sorrow. Grace in trials. Guidance given. Abundant joy! Blessings unlooked for! The love and care of God, manifested in countless ways to each one. :) Just a few shared in the evening, but happy, joyful faces speak volumes! :)

You guys had such a fun time doing, eating and 'Thanksgiving'ing it looks like. Well done, Hannah and crew! it was fun to look at the pictures and read the commentary.
Hi Aunt Peg! Glad you enjoyed it! It'll be a Thanksgiving to be remembered, for sure! Although...we lacked some of the excitement from past Lodge Thanksgivings...no napkins or roll baskets caught on fire. *sigh* Maybe next year.
Heh heh...you know, you forgot to mention that we basically did not go to bed that night! Silly girls--even after all that cooking. :-D Thanks for all these posts. It's been a joy to relive our big cooking adventure together. Love you! *hugs*
